A dedicated space for discovery  གསར་འཚོལ་ལ་དམིགས་པའི་བར་སྣང་ཞིག

Our library serves as a vital hub for both scholars and students of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies, as well as the broader community. The library is an important branch of our Association dedicated to propagating Tibetan language and culture through accessible resources.

Our expanding collection བསྡུ་རུབ་དང་རྒྱ་བསྐྱེད།

The library currently boasts a large Tibetan collection, featuring books on Tibetan cultural, language, history, religion, and geopolitics. We are actively expanding this collection to include more works in English on Tibetan and Himalayan Studies. Beyond academic pursuits, our library is also a valuable resource for the large Bhutanese population in Perth, who share the same script as written Tibetan.

For all seekers of knowledge ཤེས་བྱ་འཚོལ་མཁན་ཀུན་གྱི་ཆེད་དུ་ཡིན།

This library is for everyone – both Tibetic people (including Tibetan, Himalayan, and Bhutanese communities) and others interested in learning about the culture, history, religion, philosophy, and geopolitics of this part of the world. To further enhance your research and learning experience, we are actively working to establish interlibrary agreements with other prominent institutions that house key Tibetan and Himalayan Studies collections.
