Preserving Tibetan culture and language
བོད་ཀྱི་རིག་གཞུང་གཙོས་སྐད་ཡིག་རྒྱུན་འཛིན་དང་དར་སྤེལ།
The Australian Association of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies is a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and propagating Tibetan language and culture. We achieve this through comprehensive research and are working towards the delivery of a robust Tibetan language and cultural studies program for undergraduate students. We also acknowledge and support research on non-Tibetan minority languages spoken within the Tibetan cultural sphere, and on all cultures, religions and traditions practiced by Tibetans.
